Chapters

Phi Tau Sigma was established at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1953. Since then, over 40 Chapters have been founded on campuses in the U.S. and in Mexico and China.  If you wish to become a Phi Tau Sigma member, we invite you to connect with an active Chapter in your region.

Please contact us if you wish to be nominated outside a Chapter. We welcome you to start or reactivate a Chapter at your university and we will support you.

Establishing or re-activating a Chapter is as simple as 1-2-3:

1. Submit a petition to Phi Tau Sigma to start a Chapter,

2. Write Chapter Bylaws (view or download template)

3. Nominate enough members to maintain at least 10 Members in Good Standing (we provide you up to 3 years to grow the membership to this level)
