Your Donation Matters

There are a number of ways of giving for you to consider:

  1. Contributing Partners ($5000 and higher)

  2. Annual Scholarship and Award Sponsor

  3. Endowment Contributions and Donations

  4. General Donations​

All Contributing Partners, Sponsors, and Donors are listed in the Phi Tau Sigma Newsletter (monthly, 11 issues per year) from the time the funds are received until the next September.  Multi-year donations are listed in the Newsletter in an uninterrupted fashion.

All Contributing Partners, Sponsors, and Donors are acknowledged and publicly acknowledged during Phi Tau Sigma Awards Ceremony.

Phi Tau Sigma is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Federal Tax ID number 42-1199432 so contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by U.S. law.

1. Contributing Partners

The Phi Tau Sigma Contributing Partners Program has five levels as described below.  The Contributing Partner receives all of the benefits in the previous levels, plus the addition of the benefit listed for that level.

Bronze ($5,000)
  • Company listing in the “Sponsors and Other Contributors” section of the Phi Tau Sigma Newsletter.

  • Recognition with company name on www.phitausigma.org

  • Prominent recognition at all major Phi Tau Sigma events

Silver ($10,000)
  • Bronze benefits.

  • Posting your company’s job openings and internships in the Phi Tau Sigma Newsletter.

Gold ($15,000)
  • Silver benefits.

  • Acknowledgement of sponsorship and placement of corporate logo on plaque or scholarship/award memorabilia.

Platinum ($20,000)
  • Gold benefits.

  • A press release associated with significant contributions, distributed to allied professional and trade associations for circulation to their membership via their publications, e-news and/or listservs.

  • Complimentary access to student resume database.

Diamond ($25,000)
  • Platinum benefits.

  • Prominent multi-year listing on the Phi Tau Sigma website as a sponsor of an Endowed Program.

2. Annual Scholarship and Award Supporters

Annual Sponsors may support Scholarships and Awards Annually (For a list of the scholarships and awards Click here.)

Sponsor contributions cover the scholarship or award, plus a relatively small amount to cover the costs of administering the scholarship (cost of the plaque, PayPal fee, postage to mail the plaque, etc.)

The costs are:

Requested Annual Sponsorships for Specific Scholarships or Awards: 

  • Phi Tau Sigma Achievement Awards:  $1100 each (3 are given each year) 

  • Phi Tau Sigma – AMSA ‘Research with Impact’ Scholarship:  $2125           

  • Phi Tau Sigma Early-Career Accomplishment Award:  $2125                             

  • Phi Tau Sigma Founders’ Scholarship:  $1100     

  • Phi Tau Sigma Mid-Career Accomplishment Award:  $1100       

  • Dr. Carl R. Fellers Award for a Distinguished Career:  $3400

  • Dr. Daryl B. and Mrs. Dawn L. Lund Student International Travel Scholarship:  $2125  

  • Dr. Gideon “Guy” Livingston Scholarship: $1100 

  • Dr. S. Suzanne Nielsen Chapter Program Award:   $1100

  • Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award:  $1100     

  • Dr. Kathryn L. Kotula Special Recognition Award:  $150

Multi-year sponsorships and donations are accepted, thus securing, over time, a particular scholarship or award for the sponsor.

3. Endowment Contributions and Donations

Endowments have been set up for the:

  • Phi Tau Sigma Achievement Awards

  • Phi Tau Sigma – AMSA ‘Research with Impact’ Scholarship

  • Phi Tau Sigma Early-Career Accomplishment Award

  • Phi Tau Sigma Founders’ Scholarship

  • Phi Tau Sigma Mid-Career Accomplishment Award

  • Dr. Carl R. Fellers Award for a Distinguished Career

  • Dr. Daryl B. and Mrs. Dawn L. Lund Student International Travel Scholarship

Contributions of any amount are very appreciated and used towards the goal, once fully funded, of being able to fund the scholarship from the interest, without having to request additional funding.

Contributions are appreciated in any amount, and can be made through the button below. Please choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu, and on the PayPal screen, please fill in the “Add special Instructions to the seller” line.

4. General Donations

General Donations will be accepted in any amount.

Donations can be made towards the General Fund which includes the Program Fund (Annual Meeting Costs), Sponsorship of the Networking Dinner, general Scholarships and Awards Fund, and the necessary administrative costs to run the Society.

Donations that are not accompanied with a specific request for use will be applied where they are most needed.
