Opportunity: Volunteer Webmaster – Phi Tau Sigma

As Phi Tau Sigma continues to grow, we are expanding the digital activities that support our mission. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to serve as our Webmaster and help maintain our online presence.

Role Summary:
The Webmaster will collaborate with the Website Committee Chair, committee members, and the Board of Directors to maintain and enhance the Society’s website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update existing site content to ensure accuracy.

• Create new web pages for Society initiatives and awards.

• Become familiar with all aspects of the Society’s operations to better reflect our mission online.

• Essential Skill: Proficiency or reasonable knowledge of Wix Studio.

Time Commitment:

• Approximately 3 hours per month on a flexible, asynchronous schedule.

• Occasional increased hours during periods of site expansion or when creating new pages.

Benefits:
This is a volunteer position offering a small honorarium. It is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of Food Science and Technology by supporting the students and professionals of our Honor Society.
