Duties of the Awards Committee

  1. The Awards Committee shall develop appropriate awards programs to recognize distinguished scientists who have made substantial contributions to Food Science and Technology and its related disciplines. Awards programs shall also be developed to recognize promising younger scientists and students.
  2. All proposed programs shall be recommended to the Executive Committee for action. If approved, the Committee shall be responsible for implementing them.
  3. The Awards Committee shall consist of at least four (4) Members in addition to a chair.
